The last couple of years has proven that businesses around the world should never rely on international supply chains. Thousands of vehicles are currently waiting for computer chips. Tens of thousands of packages have spent time waiting on ships in the ocean until a spot has opened at the docks to unload. And hundreds of businesses have spent time scrambling to find materials they need to make their products and keep their businesses profitable. It has become the time to decide to finally begin sourcing, and purchasing, items made in America.
Many people thought this made-in-America fad would be short-lived. They thought time would bring the same thinking from the past. And yet, the manufacturing Made In America boom is only growing stronger.
Businesses are constructing new manufacturing facilities in the US at rapid rates. In the past year, this type of construction has risen by 116%. That number is expected to continue to rise. Massive computer chip factories are being built in Phoenix. Aluminum and steel plants are being built all over the southern United States and air compressors will be manufactured in a new plant being constructed near Buffalo, NY.
These are just the larger companies. Smaller companies are joining in and re-assessing their supply chains, too.
To determine how many businesses were reconsidering their manufacturing needs, UBS conducted a survey this past January. The results showed that 90% of the C-suite executives they surveyed stated they were either planning to move production out of China or had already done so. 80% of those executives stated they were bringing at least some of it back to the US or Mexico.
When it comes to onshoring, nearshoring, or reshoring production in a business, there are dozens of CEOs jumping on the bandwagon. Here at Stone Gryphon Tactical, we never needed to jump on the bandwagon. We were already there.
We have always sourced all of our parts, down to the screws, from companies in the USA. When we say our CTAX has been made in the USA, we mean it.
There is still a lot to be determined in the future, as to how far the manufacturing made-in-America boom will go. But early indicators show that many businesses like ours will choose to begin manufacturing their products here in the USA.
When you purchase a CTAX from Stone Gryphon Tactical, you can rest assured that you are buying a product completely made in America.
